Don't get me wrong. I love Haussmannian apartments. But stunning as they are they need a firm but deft design hand so that the the contents are not overpowered by the almost saccharine sweet plaster embellishments, the commanding windows, the drool worthy floors. Sandra Benhamou is a story teller, a lover of light, of beautiful objects and furniture, a woman who embraces eclecticism. Hell, she runs with it but her style is clean, with attention to detail and a dash of humour.
